Discount Australia Business ETA Visas

If you need a business eta visa to come to Australia, please read this as there are some rules you must abide by.

If the following rules conflict with your business stay in Australia, then you must attend the nearest Australian Embassy and apply for a regular work visa.

ETA Work Visa Conditions

• You cannot work in Australia and get PAID by an Australian company
• Non-residents are liable to tax only on income derived from Australian sources
• You cannot apply for work in Australia and think that the work visa covers this action. It does not.

You can however

• Work for a company whilst in Australia and be paid by a company OutSide Australia

IF the Australian company wants to pay you while you are in Australia, you must apply for a TAX FILE NUMBER and you "may" need to register as a business entity (rarely but it does occur), this requires getting an ABN number .
